For those who like to "flip in, flip out"...
Seasons Skateshop opened up in Albany, NY about 2 years ago. The guys who run the shop are down for the cause and always make it an enjoyable visit in the shop. Recently, they just got their "team blog" thing going. If you're not interested in watching old dudes do frontside grinds, I'd suggest you visit their site. They post much more relevant vids and stories for you youngsters out there. And, of course, if you are ever in the situation of being in Albany, stop by and check them out.

Ante up bitches...
So this garage has a nice fancy heating system (that currently has no gas to actually provide heat, but I digress). Of course we built the ramp so said heating system would be in the direct line of fire of run away boards. So we need to box it in. In doing so, we added an element of gnarlitude that non of us expected. One addition just stepped this bowl up to the next level.

This thing has a little sketch look going, but it's actually pretty solid.

just like in college, Lance putting on the skin.

The overview shots.

Test run = success!

We never said we were perfect...
This is about as good as it gets from us.

Right now you're probably asking "How do you know what radius to cut in those ribs?" Not telling.
EDIT: The idea of each rib having it's own radius is wrong. Each rib will have the same radius - the radius of the transition. If your corner does not go to vert, there is one exception, and that is the top rib of the corner - It will be a slightly smaller radius that can be calculated.

Men at work

Not only is it a bigger space, it has plenty of power, taller ceilings, and most importantly in upstate NY - it's heated!

After working on it, we talk general layout. This is gonna be fun.

New Corner
This will be the biggest corner we've built to date. Around 4 ft tall. Using the old extension for a template. The shelves above are coming out. Plenty of headroom this time around. And here you have it, some freshly cut templates, just like your Christmas tree.

New Space
New garage spot. ...and this one's heated!
Big plans in the works. Or at least, not-so-mini-plans in the works.
